Good news for Apple jailbreakers. An untethered jailbreak has been released for iPhone 4S & iPad 2 running iOS 5.0.1. iPhone 4S & iPad 2 boast an A5 CPU. After months of exploitation, iPhone hackers have finally released untethered jailbreak for A5 CPU.
‘Dream Team’ of iOS hackers including pod2g, p0sixninja, MuscleNerd, planetbeing, Saurik and many others have contributed to this new untethered jailbreak. This new untethered jailbreak is composed of complex combination of exploits-within-exploits.
iPhone 4S was released in October 2011. And iPad 2 was released about 10 months ago. iOS hackers have been able to jailbreak both these devices successfully now. Countless hours of effort has been put up by these hackers for the jailbreak.
The iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak is compatible with:
