In less than 24 hours of it’s release, Apple iOS 5 has been successfully jailbroken by hacker MuscleNerd. MuscleNerd tweeted that he jailbroke iPod Touch 4G running iOS 5 Beta 1.

MuscleNerd used the limera1n exploit that was discovered by Geohot. The jailbreak is currently tethered. We can soon see an untethered iOS 5 Jailbreak, maybe after the final release of iOS 5 this fall. MuscleNerd has managed to get iSSH and Cydia running on his iPod Touch 4G.
Currently, only Apple developers have the access to iOS 5 Beta 1. So, normal users won’t be able to get a bite of this jailbreak for now.

Hi i need it thanks…
Mascoop,
Jailbreak for iOS 5 Beta is still buggy. It’s recommended for developers only. If you need to try it, then go to Dev Team’s blog and download redsn0w. If you want to preserve your baseband and try the jailbreak then you can use sn0wbreeze.
