Update: Rebel Micro Sim for iPhone 4 in Action, Doesn’t Require to Dial 112
Another good news for iPhone 4 unlockers. After GEVEY Sim, now Rebel Micro Sim is coming to unlock iPhone 4 on basebands 02.10.04, 03.10.01 and 04.10.01 on iOS 4.1, 4.2.1 and 4.3 respectively.
The GEVEY Sim uses the method to call 112 and bypass the baseband. There is no word yet about the working of Rebel Micro Sim. Rebel Micro Sim is going will be shipping from 6th April, 2011. Also, the Rebel Sim Card will be showcased on Gadget Live Show which will be held from 13-17 April.
Rebel Sim is priced at about $65, which is slightly lesser than the GEVEY Sim.

I’m very impressed by the range of sim card hack tools being released for the iPhone. I’ve never been a fan of the big A but I know many people who are, and being locked to networks is one of their biggest complaints.
I’m also rather surprised with how well the built in security features are holding up against the more open hack.
These SIM based solutions are quite solid, a much better idea then having to constantly jailbreak the iPhone. Joe has a great point – Apple seem to be ontop of the latest hacks. They never give up!
