This is a mini guide to remove the arrows on your shortcuts..

(Works with Windows 7 also)

1. Start > Run > regedit.exe

Remove arrows from shortcuts2. Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT and find “Lnkfile”

3. When you´re in “Lnkfile” change name of IsShortcut to _IsSchortcut

4. Now look for “piffile” in the left bar

5. Change IsShortcut to _IsSchortcut

6. Restart the computer and the shortcuts won’t have that little arrow any more
