Spirit is a jailbreak tool which provides untethered jailbreak for your iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch. iOS hacker comex, with the help of chpwn, has developed this Spirit jailbreak tool. It is the first jailbreak for the iPad since it’s launch.
Spirit jailbreaks the following devices:
- iPhone on iOS 3.1.2, 3.1.3
- iPod Touch on iOS 3.1.2, 3.1.3
- iPad on iOS 3.2
Spirit doesn’t unlock iPhone. If you rely on ultrasn0w unlock, build a custom firmware using sn0wbreeze or redsn0w and then restore it on your iPhone.

How To Jailbreak iOS 3.1.2, 3.1.3 & 3.2 using Spirit Jailbreak Tool?
1. Download Spirit jailbreak tool. Spirit is available for Windows, MAC & Linux
2. Connect your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to your PC/MAC & launch Spirit
2. Click Jailbreak
3. Wait for a few seconds & your iDevice will be jailbroken & you’ll see the following screen
Cydia will be installed on the homescreen of your jailbroken iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad
Update: I successfully jailbroke my friend’s iPhone 3GS running OS 3.1.3 using “Spirit”!
