by Mahesh Kukreja on October 25, 2010

VLC Icon iPhoneVLC Media Player which was previously available for the iPad has now been release for the iPhone. The latest 1.1.0 update includes support for iPhone 4, 3GS and latest gen iPod Touches.

It introduces in-app file management without the need of having to go through iTunes to delete files and increases the compatibility of the app with different filetypes.

Here are some screenshots of the app on my iPhone 4:

Social Media 2.0 Contest at JohnCow.com

by Mahesh Kukreja on May 11, 2009

Hi Folks,

My friend John Cow started a Social Media Mania 2.0 Contest on his blog recently. There are over $3000 in prizes with this contest.

The purpose of this contest is twofold. The first is to get more exposure for JohnCow (kind of obvious I know) but the second is to teach my readers some cool tips and give them a chance to win some cool prizes.

-John Cow

And yes, one more thing! I’ve sponsored $30 in this contest!

So, let’s heat up! Participate in the contest asap, as it will end on 12th May.

Get all the details about the contest here.

Regards.

-Mahesh.
