Earlier today, I blogged about Redsn0w 0.9.6rc14 being released to jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 untethered. Now, @ih8sn0w has also updated Sn0wbreeze for Windows to version 2.6.
Sn0wbreeze and Pwnage Tool help you to preserve iPhone baseband and update your de
vice to the latest Apple iOS.
The 4.3.2 untether works on all iDevices that actually support 4.3.2 except for the iPad2:
sn0wbreeze 2.6: —————— * Supports 4.3.2 (Except iPad 2). * Updated to support i0n1c’s 4.3.2 untether. * Multitasking Gestures enabled as usual. ——————

++++++++++++++++++++++ IF YOU GET ERROR 3194+ ++++++++++++++++++++++ * Close down any TinyUmbrella’s. * Remove Cydia’s SHSH caching server from your hosts (C:\WINDOWS\system32\driver\etc\hosts) * Reboot. ++++++++++++++++++++++
Need a tutorial to jailbreak using Sn0wbreeze and preserving your baseband? Head over here. (It’s actually using sn0wbreeze 2.5, but don’t worry, it will work with 2.6 as well).
Redsn0w 0.9.6rc14 has been released for Mac & Windows to give untethered jailbreak for iDevices on iOS 4.3.2. Apple released iOS 4.3.2 a few days back to fix Wi-fi issues on iPad. Hopefully, it did not patch i0n1c’s kernel exploit. i0n1c just had to generate new kernel payload to apply the untethered jailbreak.
The 4.3.2 untether works on all iDevices that actually support 4.3.2 except for the iPad2:
iPhone3GS
iPhone 4 (GSM)
iPod touch 3G
iPod touch 4G
iPad1
If you’re ultrasn0w unlocker, do not update using redsn0w. Wait for the release of Pwnage Tool (MAC) or Sn0wbreeze (Windows).
Sn0wbreeze 2.6 is almost ready. iH8Sn0w just needs to implement i0n1c’s new binary for the exploit to work. Here’s a tweet by iH8Sn0w mentioning the same:
Jay Freeman, a.k.a. Saurik has updated Cydia to version 1.1. This is a major update to Cydia. This version is slimmer, faster and more stable than the earlier version. Support to multi-tasking has been made much better. This helps to run the application in background. It means that you can now resume from the same place exactly where you left off.
Also, speed has most definitely been improved in the app and it is now far quicker at loading as well as checking updates and searching. A new search algorithm has been implemented, which includes “an integer-arithmetic radix-sorted relevancy algorithm” which is quite better.
There is, however, no change to the UI.
I suppose the Update will be available for all the iDevices.
The “upgrade” will be offered to you when you will launch Cydia. You’ll require 3G/Wi-fi to get the update. It is not yet confirmed whether Cydia 1.1 works on iOS 4.3.1 or not.
Those who are not getting this Cydia upgrade can install manually from here (.deb) using iFile or via SSH.
Abpout 1.5 months ago, Apple announced iOS 4.2.1 for the Apple iDevices. We had told you that the Chronic Dev Team was working on a newer version of GreenPois0n to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1.
Now the Chronic Dev Team has finally released GreenPois0n RC5 which fully untethers the jailbreak on iOS 4.2.1 for all iOS devices. The iPhone Dev Team released redsn0w 0.9.7 which requires iOS 4.2b3 hashes and is currently for Mac. But, GreenPois0n RC5 doesn’t require you to have SHSH blobs of 4.2b3 saved on Cydia. You can jailbreak any iOS device with iOS 4.2.1 running on it.
Here are two good guides from RedmondPie.com which will help you to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1:
