I tried to update to WordPress 3.0, but was facing problems in wp-admin. So, I downgraded back to WordPress 2.9.2. I think there are some plugin related issues.
You can upgrade to WordPress 3.0 via Single click upgrade in your dashboard or download from here and then upload via FTP.
The new update of WordPress fixes a security vulnerability that was previously reported by Thomas Mackenzie on his personal blog. The vulnerability affects all WordPress installations with the version number 2.9.0 or later. Previous WordPress installations are not affected by the vulnerability (but are insecure because of other reasons).
Thomas Mackenzie alerted us to a problem where logged in users can peek at trashed posts belonging to other authors. If you have untrusted users signed up on your blog and sensitive posts in the trash, you should upgrade to 2.9.2. As always, you can visit the Tools->Upgrade menu to upgrade.
WordPress has updated its blogging software to version 2.9.1. This release addresses a handful of minor issues as well as a rather annoying problem where scheduled posts and pingbacks are not processed correctly due to incompatibilities with some hosts.
You can download the latest version here, or you can update it from wp-admin.
WordPress has released the latest version of its famous blogging software! The new version 2.9, code named “Carmen” is now available for download.
The new version comes with over 500 bug fixes, changes and enhancements which makes it a recommended download and install. Some of the new features include:

Batch plugin support: Update up to ten plugins at once.
Video Embeds: video embeds for popular sites have become just a tad easier as it is now possible to simply paste the url into the post which will be turned into an appropriate viewer by WordPress automatically.
Automatic database optimization which can be enabled by adding define(‘WP_ALLOW_REPAIR’, true); to the WordPress config file.
Post Thumbnails options which can be used to display thumbnails in every post if the theme supports it.
Better SEO thanks to rel=canonical
Custom galleries with the ability to add pictures from several posts.

This release is named in honor of noted trumpeter and vocalist Chet Baker. Here’s a quick video overview of everything in the new release:
Apple has launched new iPhone 3G S, which it claims to be the fastest, most powerful iPhone yet. iPhone 3G S features video recording, Voice Control, up to 32GB of storage, and more. The new iPhone 3G S is twice as fast as iPhone 3G, has got a longer battery life, a 3 megapixel autofocus camera, easy video recording and hands free voice control. Check the comparison between iPhone 3G & 3G S and see what has changed.
iPhone 3G S is powered by iPhone OS 3.0 mobile operating system and has now built in over 100 most requested features like Cut, Copy and Paste, MMS, Spotlight Search, landscape keyboard etc. iPhone 3G S uses OpenGL ES 2.0 standard for high-quality 3D graphics, while supporting 7.2 Mbps HSDPA for faster networking speeds.
Simply “tap to focus” and the new autofocus 3MP camera adjusts focus, exposure, color and contrast for the best possible image and also includes an automatic macro focus for extra close up shots. Now record high-quality video clips and edit them right on your iPhone 3G S by simply trimming the start and stop points.
The voice control feature allows hands free operation – speak the appropriate commands into the built-in microphone or headset microphone to dial by name or number, and control your favorite music by artist, album or playlist.
iPhone 3G S also features a new built-in digital compass for instant navigation, which integrates well with the iPhone’s built-in GPS that automatically displays the coordinates of your current location.
iPhone 3G S will be available in the US on June 19 for $199 (16GB) and $299 (32GB). Remember now iPhone 3G S requires a new two year contract with AT&T. iPhone OS 3.0 software will be available on June 17 as a free software update via iTunes 8.2 for all iPhone customers. So that means the previous iPhone 3G just got cheaper at $99 only for the 8GB model!

Mac video tutorial company, MacProVideo, on Friday released its iPhone app, allowing customers to transfer and watch video tutorials on the iPhone. The company also released a new set of tutorials for users of Adobe’s professional video software, Premiere.
N.E.D.i (Nonlinear Educating Device for iPhone) features detailed menus that let you quickly find topics and videos that you are looking for. The app also gives you access to the company’s forums, so you can get help from fellow users if you need it.
In addition to the iPhone app, DesignProVideo (MacProVideo’s sister site) released a new set of videos called Premiere CS4 101: Core Premiere CS4. The videos give you an overview of the Premiere workspace, as well as video editing theory like aspect ratios, keyframes and codecs. You’ll also learn about using transitions to achieve effects, manipulating time, and how to create titles to display extra information for your videos.
In its final piece of news, MacProVideo said it will no longer sell DVD copies of its training videos, opting instead to offer only downloadable versions. The company considers the move as a way to help the environment.
N.E.D.i is available free from the App Store. The Premiere tutorial costs $39.50 and is available for immediate download.
