Sometimes using your keyword phrase more than once or twice requires some linguistic trickery. One or two awkward turns of phrase are forgivable, but a whole article afflicted with errors is unforgivable whether intentionally or by mistake. Either way, too many errors are unreadable for your visitors, and it will also hurt your search ranking.

4. Keep it relevant

The pages on your site should relate to the other pages. The posts in your blog should relate to the other posts. If you are trying to use certain unrelated keywords to sneakily score more visitors, you may be tempted to use unrelated content to slip in those keywords. Don’t do it. This may not mess with your search rank, but your visitors won’t dig it and may not come back.

5. Keep it current

Old news doesn’t make quality content. Tell your visitors something they don’t already know. You can look at old news in a new light, offering new viewpoints or different interpretations, but whatever you do don’t just rehash old hat.

6. Make it valuable

Remember, your content is for your visitors. If it isn’t valuable, why the heck would anyone read it? Valuable content is related to your site’s niche, and, to put it bluntly, it is worth reading. Lots of content can be valuable; valuable content can be entertaining or informative, breaking news or a new look at an old story.
