TPSIM Unlocks iPhone 4S On Basebands 1.0.11, 1.0.13 & 1.0.14

There’s a good news for users who are stuck with a locked iPhone 4S. A team of Chinese hackers, ChinaSnow, will release TPSIM, a new unlock solution for iPhone 4S & iPhone 4.

What is TPSIM & how does it work?

TPSIM is a new SIM Interposer like Gevey, which will unlock iPhone 4S & iPhone 4. This new turbo sim supports iPhone 4S with the following basebands:

• 1.0.11
• 1.0.13
• 1.0.14

TPSIM works with iOS 5 & iOS 5.0.1 on iPhone 4S.

TPSIM also unlocks iPhone 4 on the following basebands:

• 1.59.00
• 2.10.04
• 3.10.01
• 4.10.01

This means you can preserve your baseband and update to iOS 5.0.1 using sn0wbreeze or redsn0w & use the new TPSIM to use any GSM carrier worldwide.

TPSIM requires one time dialing of 112 to exploit the iPhone 4S/4 baseband. After reboot, your iPhone will connect to a GSM network directly without dialing 112. Check the video demo to see how it works:

What’s the Price of TPSIM & Where can I buy it from?

BeijingiPhoneRepair is taking pre-orders of TPSIM. The product is currently priced at $84.95 with free worldwide shipping. About 20,000 pieces will be produced by some Chinese factory at this time.

When first generation Gevey was released, it was priced at around $75. The initial price for such products is high due to large demand from customers who are stuck with a locked iPhone 4S or iPhone 4.

If you’re already using Gevey on iPhone 4, I don’t think there’s a need to buy TPSIM for your iPhone 4. But, if you’re using a locked iPhone 4S & want to get it unlocked, TPSIM can be a good solution for you.
