Previously, GEVEY and GEVEY Pro were available for unlocking iPhone 4. They provide a tethered solution for unlocking iPhone 4. Later, GEVEY Supreme Pro Plus was released which was supposed to be an untethered solution for unlocking iPhone 4 on basebands 02.10.04, 03.10.01 & 04.10.01. As you know we were told that we don’t need to dial 112 for Gevey Supreme and it was also mentioned on the package, but that is not true. Here are some facts about GEVEY Supreme
1. You need to dial 112 for the first time followed by the same GEVEY procedure, and by first time I mean when you insert your sim card for the first time. You’ll need to repeat this 112 procedure when you replace the sim card with some other sim
2. If on reboot the network doesn’t show up, you need to reboot your iPhone
3. After reboot you need to repeat the 112 procedure and after NETWORK shows up, DIAL *000 and hang up
4. After dialing *000, your iPhone will get Network every time after REBOOT (Wasn’t mentioned by the manufacturer)
5. This is how it works it does give you Untethered Unlock. These were some untold facts about GEVEY Supreme Pro Plus

About GPRS:
The manufacturer mentions the need to dial *112 for GPRS to work. But I didn’t find a need to do that for GPRS. All I did was switched on Data Roaming & Cellular Data Network and it worked.
About Verification:
It comes with a Serial key on packaging which can be verified on gevey.us
Conclusion:
GEVEY Supreme Pro Plus is bit Supreme than the Original GEVEY. Though it’s not from the manufacturers of GEVEY & GEVEY Pro, it works & is reliable. Unlike Rebel Micro Sim, it serves the purpose of Untethered Unlock for iPhone 4.
GEVEY Supreme works on iOS 4.1, 4.2, 4.3.3 on basebands 02.10.04, 03.10.01 & 04.10.01 respectively.

I got iphone 4 & am unable to unlock my iphone with GEVEY supreme plus. Even after dialling 112 procedure i cant see signal on my iphone. I doesnt gives me any options & just displays me as INVALID SIM.

Settings -> General -> About. Tell the iOS version & modem firmware.
I dont shows me settings options, it is asking for “please enter an Valid Sim with no Pin lock”

So you’re stuck on activation screen. You need original carrier’s sim to activate, or you must build custom firmware via sn0wbreeze & select “hacktivate” option.

Have tried to jailbreak my IPHONE4 by creating custom firmware via snowbreeze, but i am getting an error message on my Itunes that “The Iphone “IPHONE” could not be restored. An unknown error occured (3194)”

If you’re trying to upgrade to iOS 5.0, you cannot do so because Apple has stopped signing iOS 5.0. Now you will have to create custom iOS 5.0.1 and restore to that.

You need shsh blobs of 4.3.3 if you want to restore to iOS 4.3.3. Were you on jailbroken 4.3.3 previously? If yes, add the following line to your hosts file & then try restoring to 4.3.3

If it was not previously jailbroken, you cannot restore your iPhone to 4.3.3. Which iOS are you now on?

Ok, so now you must create custom iOS 5.0.1 using sn0wbreeze. You can search for the tutorial on this blog. I’ve already posted one. And while building custom iOS 5.0.1, you must select hacktivate option. Then restore to this custom iOS 5.0.1 using iTunes.
After the restore, your iPhone will be havktivated and it won’t ask you for any sim.
i hav created custom firmware to jailbraek so that i can unlock my Iphone 4 using gevey sim supreme but m not able to do so as i m getting the above mentioned 3194 error also my host file has above mentioned line even have tried upgrading my itunes but that doesnt work as well

You cannot restore to 4.3.3 now. You must build custom iOS 5.0.1 & remove that gs.apple.com line from your hosts file before restoring to custom iOS 5.0.1.
