The public release of iOS 5 is nearing with the releases of beta versions. Till now Apple has seeded 7 beta versions of iOS 5 to the developers.
The recently released iOS 5 Beta 7 contains some minor bug fixes and is available for download in Apple’s Developer Center. The update is also available via OTA (Over the Air). OTA update can be downloaded by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update. The OTA update is about 70 MB in size.
In addition to iOS 5 Beta 7, Apple has also seeded Xcode 4.2 b7, iTunes 10.5 b7, Safari 5.1.1 and Apple TV b6 to Developers. If you’re a registered Apple Developer, you can download iOS 5 Beta 7 from Apple’s Developer Site.
The build version of iOS 5 Beta 7 is 9A5313E. And it’s set to expire on Thursday October 20, 2011 @ 8:00:01 PM [Eastern Standard Time] (According to iH8sn0w).

i did this process but my iPad, after redsnow finishes, goes into recovery and can’t get out. I’ve tried master reboot I’ve tried recboot to force it out but it just goes back to recovery
Which iOS were you trying to restore to? And is it iPad 1 or iPad 2?
